Jamb nuts are used to lock a rod end into a threaded tube or insert to keep it in place and to prevent movement and undue wear on threads. This jamb nut has 5/8″ - 18 left hand threading. It is commonly used on smaller heim joints and smaller sizes of control arm joints.
