G2 ring & pinion sets are a high quality product at an economical price. These gears are easy to set up, run quietly, and will give years of good service and reliable operation.
This set is a 5.38 ratio that fits high pinion (reverse rotation) Dana 60 axles found in Ford 1 ton trucks and many aftermarket high pinion housings, such as those offered by Solid Axle. It features a thick ring gear and therefore requires use of a low ratio (4.10 and down) differential.
It is recommended that a new installation kit (bearings, shims, seal, and pinion nut) be used when installing these gears.
